Rocker, tail shape, rails, concave depth—every element needs to be dialed in to maximize paddle power, drive, speed through turns, and responsiveness. It’s all about precision, ensuring the board feels fast, lively, and ready to perform at the highest level possible.
Med Shorty
Designed for the everyday conditions of the Mediterranean, this board balances extra foam for speed generation with a performance-driven feel. A slightly flatter entry rocker helps with paddle power and early speed, while a generous tail lift keeps it lively and responsive. The single to double concave—deepest through the fins—enhances drive and control, and the wider, fuller outline adds stability without sacrificing maneuverability. It’s as high-performance as I shape, built to excel in softer, less-than-perfect waves while still letting you push your surfing.

Performance Shorty
Built for when the waves turn on, this board features a fair amount of rocker to handle speed effortlessly and let you draw any line you want. Slightly narrower and pointier than the Med Shorty, it’s my go-to when I’m looking to try to surf at my highest level. I love it with a swallow tail for extra release off the top. Pair it with a more raked fin for open-face waves or a more upright fin for quick transitions in punchy beach breaks.
